Waiver of Sea Trial
I understand that a sea trial is a dynamic inspection, while the boat is underway through the water, of the observable surfaces in the boat. I further understand that the sea trial is an important part of a complete survey, because defects, damage, failure, or structural faults are often not observable and often cannot be fully evaluated except in dynamic conditions while underway. I further understand that a sea trial is available from the surveyor at additional cost. Nevertheless, despite this knowledge, I voluntarily waive the sea trial and release NMMS and the surveyor from responsibility for not conducting it.
